What activities do you lose yourself in?
There’s a certain kind of peace that washes over me when the sun decides to shine. Not just any day, but a warm, blue sky sunny day. The kind of day that makes me want to ditch the indoors and breathe deeply, letting the soothing sunlight soak into my skin. And of course, bring my camera.
It’s more than just capturing pictures, though that’s a huge part of it. It’s about immersing myself in the world around me. A warm sun on my face, the gentle breeze whispering through leaves, the vibrant hues of wildflowers through my camera’s viewfinder – these are the things that feed and comfort my soul.

There’s a quiet joy in wandering, camera in hand, searching for that perfect light, that fleeting moment of beauty. It could be capturing the way sunlight dapples through a forest canopy, the brilliant blue of a robin’s egg, or the colorful glow on rows of wild flowers. Each shot becomes a little piece of that sun-soaked day, a tangible memory to hold onto.
These sun-filled days aren’t just about photography, they’re about finding a deeper connection with myself and the natural world. They’re about soaking up the beauty and letting it inspire. And honestly, there’s nothing quite like it to me.
Great way to lose yourself!
