Since I work so closely with computing technology, I’ll limit my response to just one thing concerning today’s writing prompt.
- Technology – Apple. Specifically, MacBook Pro. If you’ve never used macOS before, you’re missing out on a lot. Unlike Microsoft Windows, macOS is designed with productivity in mind. It doesn’t constantly nag you with update reminders and is free from unnecessary distracting bloat that can add to frustration when you’re just trying to get your work done. Whether you’re writing your latest book or working on photography post-processing, you’re guaranteed a stress-free environment that just works. I abandoned the Microsoft Windows environment long ago. I grew tired of booting up my Windows laptop and being bombarded with Windows operating system, app, and firmware updates. I reached the point where the updates finally completed, but I was so disgusted with my laptop that I simply shut it down and put it away without getting anything done. My iPad Pro and iPhone also fall into the same “it just works” category. No fussing around, just open them up and get to work, and no worries. I like that.
