The missus and I enjoyed an enjoyable meal at the Trolley Stop Inn, then took the brief drive to the South Park Game Preserve to see the duckies.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this female mallard slowly waddle across the thin ice, to investigate the humans on the other side of the fence who were feeding bread to the other ducks
Please don’t feed bread to the ducks or any of the other wildlife there. There’s clear signage that reminds everyone not to, and bread isn’t good for them. If you’re nearby, please don’t feed them, even if it looks so tempting!
The ice was a bit thin, and she had to work a little to get through it several times, but she made it to her destination without any further trouble.
Do you think I have a soft spot for ducks?
