Four-Day Work Week? No Thank you!

Four-day work weeks suck, there’s no other way to put it.  Nothing like getting a day off for a holiday only to get five days of work squished into a four-day week. Honestly, I would rather have worked yesterday than endure this non-stop, grueling catch-up work during the rest of the week.

Today was one of those days that necessitated everything I had. It was one of those “non-stop everything from the moment I arrived this morning until the final task was finally crossed off” kind of day.

A man sitting on a couch, looking tired and contemplative, with a hand on his head, in a softly lit living room.

Now that I am home, the fatigue now hits all at once. It’s that deep, heavy kind of exhaustion where even sitting still feels like an effort, and the only real solution is to eat supper, followed by unplugging and going to bed immediately after.

Yeah, tomorrow is a new day, but I don’t think it will make much of a difference considering this shortened work week.
