Do you remember life before the internet?
I vividly remember life before the internet, and honestly, I believe it was far superior in many ways compared to its current connected state. Almost every day, I read about new operating system vulnerabilities and software flaws that pose risks to our digital lives, from bank account information to private\personal details and everything in between.
Furthermore, I believe we heavily rely on cloud computing these days. I recognized the potential pitfalls of this over two decades ago when I first learned about it. I used to describe it as “putting all your eggs in one basket.” When a cloud service goes down, the entire depending services using it goes down with it; Cloudflare comes to mind here.

Now that everything is “on the cloud” I fear that if the world would to shut down – people would lose their minds
