Honestly, I don’t believe there’s a “best” or “worst” pet out there. It truly all boils down to whether the owner is prepared and able to give that animal the love, care, and attention it needs to thrive and be happy. Every creature, whether big or small, deserves a good home!
While we’re at it, here are my top three: guinea pig, dachshund, and kitty-cat.

First – that is the cutest photo ever! To answer your question I’ve only ever had pet hamsters and their life expectancy always devastates me to my core – they only get to live for a short 2 years if that. Maybe I need to adapt a dog – because I adore dogs =)
